What happens with my waste?

All waste is taken to our Material Recycling Facility in Lye near Stourbridge. The load goes through a manual and mechanical sorting process which segregates the different waste materials. Much of the materials are recycled, with very little going to landfill.

How do I book a grab hire?

What materials will the grab truck remove?

Our Grab lorries will remove soil, clay, hardcore, concrete, muck, wood, non-hazardous waste and green waste. We can also cater for the removal of rubbish and all other types of non hazardous waste - £POA.

Where is it best to locate my waste materials?

Waste cannot be deposited on a public highway. Obviously the Grab Lorries are bigger than a conventional skip and so do require a slightly larger operating area, but this is often compensated for by the reach of the grab arm itself. Our experienced drivers will work you to obtain the best result. If you are unsure please mention any potential limitations as we may be able to provide you with alternate solutions as long as we are aware beforehand.

Is there anything that I cannot put in a skip?

In accordance with environmental legislation, fridge freezers, asbestos, and tyres are not permitted to be placed in or beside a skip. However, if you do require a fridge or freezer collection, we will be happy to arrange a dedicated vehicle to dispose of these for you.

Where can my skip be left?

Skips can be left on private property, such as your driveway, garden or on the road outside your house. Skips can also be dropped at business, offices or factories. For builders and contractors, we also offer waste disposal services at customer locations.

How long can I keep a skip?

Our price is the same whether you have the skip for one day or two weeks. This can be extended at your request.

Do I need permission from my local council to place a skip on the road?

Yes. You will need to contact your local council. They normally charge a small fee for the permit.

Are there any skip loading requirements?

Our skips must be level-loaded at all times, This is to ensure the safety & welfare of our drivers and other road users, and to ensure that any rubbish remains contained whilst in transit.
